Refund policy

1. Scope of Application

This withdrawal policy applies to orders placed via the Tasty Petfood online shop.

A distinction is made between orders with a delivery address within the European Union (EU) and those with a delivery address in Switzerland (CH).

2. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers within the European Union (EU)

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal (Food Products)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods:

  • which are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiry date would be exceeded quickly,

  • which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

Our products (dog food in food-grade quality) fall under these exceptions as soon as the packaging has been opened or damaged.

Returns based on taste, preference, or individual acceptance by the dog are excluded.

Conditions for Withdrawal (where permissible)

A withdrawal is only possible if:

  • the goods are unopened, undamaged, and originally sealed,

  • the goods are in their original condition,

  • the withdrawal is declared within 14 days of receipt,

  • proof of purchase is provided.

Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email):

Please include the following information in your withdrawal notice so that we can process your request promptly:

  • Order number

  • Delivery address

  • Reason for return

  • Confirmation that the goods are unopened and originally sealed

To comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may refuse to make the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

Return of Goods

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Orders with Delivery Address in Switzerland (CH)

For orders with a delivery address in Switzerland, there is no statutory right of withdrawal, as EU consumer protection law does not apply.

A return or cancellation is therefore generally excluded, unless one of the following cases applies:

  • the goods were delivered damaged,

  • an incorrect or incomplete order was delivered.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions may be paused or cancelled at any time.
Deliveries that have already been dispatched are subject to the withdrawal rules stated above.
Cancellation only affects future deliveries.
